In our series of stories about world knowledge, today we return to the ten largest countries in the world based on their area and their borders recognized by the United Nations (UN).  we have prepared a list of the 10 largest countries in the world according to their size. 

Russia:

Russia ranks first among the largest countries in the world, with an area of 17.1 million km², a population of over 143.8 million, and borders more than 144.5 countries.

Canada:

Canada is the second largest country in the world with an area of 9.984 million km² and a population of 37.06 million.

United States of America:

The United States of America is the third largest country in the world, with an area of 9.63 million km² and a population of over 327.2 million.

China:

China is the fourth largest country in the world with an area of 9.6 million km² and a population of 1,419,321,278. In particular, China is the largest country on the Asian continent.

Brazil:

Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world, with an area of 8.51 million km², and the Amazon rainforest is the largest in the world.

Australia:

Australia is the sixth largest country in the world, with an area of 7,741,220 square kilometers and a population of 24.6 million.

India:

With an area of 3,287 million km², India is the seventh largest country in the world, with a population of 1,450,935,791, making it the second most populous country in the world after China.

Argentina:

Argentina has an area of 23.78 million km², making it the 8th largest country in the world with a population of 45 million.

Kazakhstan:

Kazakhstan is the ninth largest country in the world, with an area of 2.72 million km² and a population of over 19.9 million.

Algeria:

The country of Algeria is the 10th largest country in the world, with an area of 2.38 million km², making it the largest country on the African continent with a population of 41.32 million.
