Kenyan newspapers reported that seven people died on the morning of Monday, December 23, 2024, in two separate but related accidents, where six cars and a motorcycle collided on the Narok-Mai Mahiu road in Kenya.

 Police sources said the accident occurred at around 10:00 am when a truck carrying goods from Narok to Mai Mahiu veered off the road after one of its tires blew out, hitting a Toyota Premio, an ENA Coach bus, and a motorcycle, causing a major accident where the vehicles veered off the road after the collision, causing serious injuries and the loss of life. 

Two people in the Prado died instantly, while another died at Narok County Referral Hospital from his injuries.

 The truck also hit a bicycle, killing two passengers on the back of the bicycle, who died instantly. Two people in the Prado died instantly, while another died later at Narok General Hospital.

The accident also claimed the lives of two passengers on a motorcycle. The bodies of the victims of the accident were placed in the morgue of the aforementioned hospital for examination and identification, while the surviving unidentified victims were being monitored by doctors at the hospital.

 The remains of six cars and a bicycle were immediately sent to the Ntulele Police Station for examination.

The Kenyan police have expressed their condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones and have advised the public to take precautions to avoid accidents by obeying traffic laws, especially for motor vehicle drivers, cars, and pedestrians, as they can also be the cause of accidents.At the end of the year, there are a lot of accidents due to the high movements of the people from one place to another.
