Arsenal’s loss as Bukayo Saka’s injury poses a problem.Arsenal’s Spanish manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his concern for Bukayo Saka after the Englishman suffered an injury during the match against Crystal Palace.
Saka suffered an injury during his side’s 5-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday and was forced to be substituted in the 24th minute of the first half.
The 23-year-old was doing his best to help the team perform well when he left the field, apparently suffering from a serious injury, especially in the hip area. When asked about it in a post-match press conference, Mikel Arteta said: “He felt something in his thigh, he felt he couldn’t continue, he came off immediately, he just needs to be assessed, I’m very worried about that injury.”
Asked how long Saka could be out, Arteta replied: “It’s hard to say right now, they’re just going to have a test but it’s very difficult to say because it’s very serious.
“Arteta added that his teammate Raheem Sterling, who plays in the same position as Bukayo, was also injured, which also prevented him from playing in Saturday’s match.
Saka has missed just two games for Arsenal this season, after suffering a serious injury while playing against England in October. This led to him missing the team’s draw with Chelsea in November and Arsenal’s clash with Nottingham Forest on 23 November.
Bukayo Saka is one of the players who helps Arsenal when he has a problem, which makes Arsenal’s games difficult, as he is the one who builds the game. This young man from England has been struggling with minor injuries this year, which has made Arsenal fans worried about the title this season, as Liverpool continues to perform well.
