This player who plays for the Burundi national team known as INTAMBAKURUGAMBA, named Ismail NSHIMIYIMANA “Pitchou”, asked the APR FC management to leave the club, which allowed him to do so, and from that moment on he immediately began training with other Rwandan players who do not have teams.‎ 

‎APR FC signed Ismael ‘Pitchou’, who played for Kiyovu Sports, on a two-year contract in July 2023.‎ ‎Nshimirimana Ismael Pitchou arrived in Rwanda in 2021 to play for Kiyovu Sports, which he helped win second place in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons.‎ ‎This young man, who can play as a central defender (number 6) or as a striker (number 8), was wanted by Rayon Sports but they disagreed on the amount to be paid for him, with it being said that he wanted 35 million Frw while Rayon Sports offered 25 million Frw.

‎ ‎Pitchou, who is currently a player for the Burundi national team Intambakurugamba, is among the first players from outside Rwanda to join APR FC after 11 years of playing exclusively for Rwandans.‎ ‎

The Rwandan Premier League standings are led by Rayon Sports, who are in first place with thirty-three points, eight points ahead of Apr FC, who are in second place.

‎ ‎APR parted ways with Pitchou after signing several midfielders but they never produced enough results.
