The 19 villages that were in the competition in the Giti Sector concluded the games on December 21, 2024, showing the role of sports in changing the attitudes of the people.

In this sector, the football competition was concluded, where 19 villages located in three regions competed for the cup for two teams including girls and boys.

The Executive Secretary of the Giti Sector, Bangirana Jean Marie Vianney says that in this sector there are still problems with houses without kitchen facilities, dirty toilets, violence against teenagers and others so that when they bring them together they don’t get a message.

The youth and the elderly, we still have homes without kitchen appliances and other aids in their daily life, when they meet at the stadium we talk to them and exchange messages and celebrate the victories of the cells we have competed for.

He adds that this tournament is also a place where talented players are trained to help them prepare teams to represent the Sector in the Kagame CUP Championship which is contested at the Sector level.
