FC Barcelona beat Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal beat AS Monaco and Manchester City lost to Juventus in Friday’s UEFA Champions League matches.

These games were played on the night of Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at different venues. At Signal Iduna Park Borussia Dortmund hosted FC Barcelona. The game started with the FC Barcelona team very angry and it was possible that in the first 6 minutes they would have scored a goal.

At the 13th minute, Lamine Yamal gave a good ball to Raphinha who released a shot that went through the corner of the goal. The Dortmund team also went through the motions through players including Jame Gittens who converted a good ball and only found Marcel Sabitzer to capitalize on it which was a problem.

Before the end of the first half, Borussia Dortmund continued to outdo FC Barcelona in terms of creating more chances in front of the goal, only for their striker Serhou Guirassy to waste them.

In the second half, the FC Barcelona team came to a standstill and in the 53rd minute they immediately opened the scoring with a goal scored by Raphinha who was given the ball by Dani Olmo.

Soon Dortmund also got a penalty goal from Pau Cubarsi’s foul on Serhou Guirassy and he himself put it into the net.

In the 75th minute, FC Barcelona got the 2nd goal scored by Ferran Torres from Fermon Lopez.

Although this Spanish team had already won, its defenders continued to make mistakes and at the 78th minute, Serhou Guirassy scored the 2nd goal of Borussia Dortmund.

In the 85th minute, Ferran Torres scored FC Barcelona’s 3rd goal from a ball received by Lamine Yamal and helped the team finish the game by beating Borussia Dortmund 3-2.

Other games played by Arsenal with the help of Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz beat AS Monaco 3-0, Juventus team Manchester City 2-0, Benfica tied with Bologna 0-0, Feyenoord team Sparta Prague 4-2 and VFB Stuttgart beat Young Boys 5-1 .
